About

INNERmedia was born out of the need to create a marketing organization that was based on my core values of honesty, integrity and authenticity.  As a child of the 50’s, I was the first in my family to grow up with television.  As a teenager I was tuned to my transistor radio and listened to the DJs spin records.  I landed on my feet when my secretarial skills earned me a job at an ad agency.  I parlayed that experience in to a successful career selling television advertising where I worked on everything from mom-and-pop start-ups to corporate biggies like McDonald’s and Wal-Mart.

Disillusioned when the accountants took over and relationships were cast aside, I became a corporate burn-out.  Taking the road less traveled I married my stage experience to my advertising acumen and with a partner created and consulted live retail expos and events.   Still finding my personal values in conflict with my work environment, I set out on my own to create a company that allowed me to use my multi-talents to help other entrepreneurs market and grow their business.

As a media junkie I’ve watched television be shaped by the expansion of cable.  Today’s 20-somethings don’t differentiate between TV and cable; it’s just television.  Radio has gone satellite and digital; records are collector’s items.  Everybody is on the internet and we won’t leave home without our cell phone that multi-tasks as a camera and computer.

With the increasing use social media I am watching the media landscape shift again in a way that will reshape the communication hemisphere.  Although I am not an early-adopter I recognize the value of this new way to network and promote our businesses so it is time to take this giant step and begin my own blog.

Today is the first day of the rest of my marketing career.
